meMorY Cell?

Yesterday, went to Biology tuition. Mr Sundrram gave us some tips on memorizing facts. STPM is a paper which needs a lot of memory work. Almost every subject, except for MUET hehehe... He told us that when we learn something new, our brain will store the data in a cell, he didn't mentioned what cell. For exmple, when we learn round, a cell will store the information about round. Then, when we saw the moon, moon is round, another cell will store information about the moon and make a connection with the cell that contains the round information. As we learn more and more things that are round in shape, the cell build more connections and it will become stronger and stronger. Strong enough for you to remember round in your whole life. The cell won't just disappear like that. When we learn something during our lessons, we HAVE TO revise at home, as we tend to forget almost 50% of what we had learnt hours ago in within 24 hours. So, as we revise, the cell builds connections. Repeat the subject twice, trice and as many time as possible, you will remember it no matter what happened. I know it is hard to do that, because not all are hardworking hahahaha....including Mr. Sundrram, so, he gave us a good idea. We just have to tell our mothers what we've learnt today when we saw our mothers, tell the same thing to our father when we saw our fathers, and repeat it again to our siblings, tell the passenger next to us when we are on a bus ride................ Maybe my family and friends will think that I'm a freak when I do that, but, what to do, I still have to do it for the sake of getting 4.0 hehehehehehehe...

For those who read this post, don't be afraid when I start to tell you something about Biology/Chemistry/Pengajian Am k, I'm very normal and healthy....

God really planned everything...

Last week, before my maths exam, I was chit-chating with my friends coz I already finish revising hehehe... But then, I saw See Ying reading the trigo formulae so I read also. I hate trigo but I try my best to memorize them. I didn't expect much from that coz it's like 5 minutes before the exam. Then during the exam, I'm stuck in a question and suddenly a trigo formula came to my mind! Hahahaha....The most happiest thing was I can remember the formula! I was so happy after the test coz I knew how to do all the questions hahahaha.... Monday, Pn. Tew gave back our papers, and you what? I get 100% HAHAHAHAAHA.. Although it was just a monthly test and a very easy paper, I still get 100%, and I never get 100% for a very long time... Really thanked God for teh formulae hehehehe.... Although I get 100% this time, I won't be lazy doing my maths homework just because I get good results this time!

GOD U NOE WHAT'S BEST FOR ME!!

International Sports A Waste of Resources??

This is the debate topic in my school today, STAR vs ACS. I was on duty today, so I get to listen to the whole debate from the beginning till the end hahahaha....

Is international sports a waste of resources? I think it depends on which resources you are reffering to. For example the Olympic Game in Beijing last year. In my opinion, they waste a lot of money for the fireworks. It is undenyable that it was really beautiful, but they have to spend a lot to manufacture the firecrackers and shooting bullets to the sky to prevent large clouds so that it won't rain on the big day. Furthermore, they were polluting the air. Beijing is already a polluted area, they spent so much money to purify the air in Beijing and yet they polluted it again by shooting millions of fireworks into the sky.

My school was the opposition and I think how they define waste was very good. Waste means something that you can't get anything back from it. Although China spent a lot of money in making this Olympic a success, the amount of money they earned was much more than the amount they have spent. They get people all over the world to know them and they have created another place for tourists to visit. So, Olympic did gave them some advantages. As a reslut, it was not a total waste.

Well, at the end, my school won and the third speaker from my school Ng Wee Jin won as the best speaker. So, ACSs, work harder next time hahahahaha...

Exam Weeeeeeek....

Hey, really very sorry for not updating my blog. Actually, im not lazy, I just can't find the time to online.... Well, I just finish my monthly test today, so I think I have a bit of my time to post a new post hehehehehe...

Ermmm....This week was a very terrible week, especially during chemistry and biology test. First, I have to memorize my route maps all the way from alkane to haloalkane. Then, when I attempted the paper, the route maps onl helped me a little, haiz..... But nevermind lah, I can memorize for STPM mah, that's what I told myself. That is call self-consoling... Then, there was a question, a very complicated question which consumes 15 marks. I get the first idea only and I just don't seem to get the end product. So, 15 X 2 = 30, 30 marks just flew away like that. Once again I told myself, nevermind, this is just a monthly test.... Then, today my classmate told me only 8 person passed the test, God I hope I'm one of the 8.

As for Biology, I always combine Calvin cycle and Kreb's cycle hahahaha... RuBP will appear in Kreb's cycle hahahaha...But overall, the paper was quite ok, except for 2 questions. The first question, actually the answer didn'e exist, then, my genius bio teacher knew that but she just copy round round from the paper nd tell us that, " This is STPM paper, imagine lah, STPM oso got mistakes". I really feel like asking her to bang the wall, making us confuse. The next question was I dunno what they want. 5 marks, and I wrote the whole page LOL, I don't know what they want, so I just wrote the whole photoactivation thingy inside.

I think Maths is the only subject I have more confidence towards, coz I know how to do all the questions hahahaha...

PA? Quite ok also, but the teacher was a bit crazy, 1 and a half hour, 20 objective questions and 2 graphs. My first graph was nice, but the second graph was so ugly..... But at least I manage to finish it hehehe....

Muet was the paper which everyone just sit and relax, no revision because there is no need for revision. We were doing the reading part. As usual, the passages were lengthy and boring. The last question was really superb. I read and read the passage dunno for how many times and I still can't find the answers. At the end, I have to read it slowly, word by word, hah, then I found the answers, but dunno correct or not.

Today, went to Popular JJ and met Sara there. At first I plan to browse the books and stationary, then I saw Sara and both of us started chatting. At the end, I didn't bought anything... However, I think it was good too, coz my mum said I always have to spend money each and every time I go out with her, so, this time I didn't spend a single cent hahahaha... On our way home, passed throuh Memory Lane, saw a familiar guy looking at some stuffs, and I realise he was Sze Meng! I called him, but he can't hear me, but I don't blame him coz I know his problem ( left ear can consider as deaf ). Then I saw someone waving at me from the inside, it's Rachel and Evelyn! That was the time he realise I was there hahahaha... Really missed them so much.... I'm so glad to see them but it's too bad that I had to rush to tuition, if not for sure I will stay and spend some time with them...

Well, that's all for today hehehe.... Nite...

STAR 46th Sports Day

Today, 7/2/2009, Saturday was my school's 46th sports day. I'm in house Laksamana with Mei Yee and Yun Yih and for the past 3 weeks, we have been practicing our marching every single day (except Saturday, Sunday and CNY). This was my first time being so active in sports day and honestly, I did all these because of koko marks LOL...

Those in Laksamana, I'm sure you will agree with me about this. We had a very irritating and perasan leader, I shall refer him as K. Well, he is a marching idiot, he don't know how to march and yet he wanted to be the commander. Every single command he gave was wrong and he didn't realised that. He thought he was good just because his voice was louder than our formal commander, Cherylyn. However, teacher gave the power to command back to Cherylyn after 2 days he became the commander. Thank God! The next thing which I don't satisfy was the dance in our marching. It was very weird and I reall don't like it at all. I just did it because I had to. The third thing was a group of Indian girls in our team. They just don't know when to keep their mouth shut. They were keep on talking, talking and talking no matter they were in or out of the line. Then, they can't stand still in the line. keep on moving around and talking in the line under the hot sun, then keep on ask for water. It was their own fault that they need so much water. Next was our T-shirt. That was the most embarrased T-shirt I've ever worn. Behind the shirt, there were 2 lines printed " Designed by: Faizal & Kiribanath " Please lah, the shirt was not that nice. I tried to liquid off the lines but I made it even worst hahahaha... But, I'm sure that I will do something to remove that 2 lines, by hook or by crook! If not, I will never wear that shirt again and my RM15 were wasted just like that. Lastly, it was the condition of the field in the school or in the stadium. It was so horrible, the field was muddy and my whole leg just sank into the mud. I've washed my shoes 3 times in a week.. That's not enough, the mud has an awful smell, it smells like shit!

Well, the sports day was over and my house get the 4th place and consolation prize for the marching. Although many unhappy things happened, there was still something happy and funny happened. I broke a piece of wood which the Taekwando was going to use for their performance with a single hand LOL... I can't imagine I really broke the piece of wood into half with so little strength hahahaha.... So, it proved that the Taekwando fellows were playing a fool on us all the time........

I'm really sorry if I hurt anyone feelings in this post, but this is my opinion and toughts and I had to voice it out so that you know what is your weaknesses and can improve on that hehe... ><

28/2/09 ~ 29/2/09 Sitiawan & Pantai Remis

The 3rd day of CNY, my family and I and some church freinds went to Sitiawan,Perak. During our journey, we passed through a paddy plantation and we are city people, so, we get down of the car and start snapping pictures and chasing cranes hahaha

We went to visit turtles in Pasir Panjang Segari. You might thought only Terenggganu have turtles, I have that opinion too, but, the fact is, there are turtles in Perak. Well, actually it's a turtle conservation area, Pusat Pengurusan Penyu. This is the place where they will dig up the turtle eggs, protect them until they hatch, let some back into the sea and keep some for research. Most of the turtles there were greenback turtles. The place was not dirty, but it is full of houseflies flying everywhere. They said it's because of the chicken farm next to it....

Then, we went to a fisherman village and we were supposed to spend our night there. Some prefer the church because it was cleaner, more comfortable and air conds were available hahahaha... Although the village were not that clean, not very comfortable and only fans were available, we had a great time there learning how to fish. The best thing was I've learnt how to catch fishes using a net and I really caught some! It means I won't starve to death if the economy continues to drop LOL

The next morning, we had a very very cheap breakfast. Can you still find RM0.50 nasi lemak in Klang? It is impossible right. But, it is possible in Pantai Remis. The normal nasi lemak cost merely RM0.50, seafood nasi lemak with fish and prawns cost RM0.90 and kaya glutinous rice cost RM1.30. It's really really cheap!

After our cheap breakfast, we went to a fish wholesale factory. That was the first time I saw so many fishes at a time in my whole life!

These fishes were used to make salted fish...

After our fishy trip, we had our lunch in Andrew's kampung, Changkat Kruing. It is a small kampung where most of the villagers catch prawns to survive. It was a tradition that they sure will have wedding or party during the CNY because only during CNY all the youngsters will come back from working. It was lucky for us to have a birthday party of grandpa, we had our lunch as if we had it in a restaurant with 10 dishes and a dessert. The food were tasty and a lot but the place was full of houseflies again! The houseflies came from their neighbour which was a rubber factory... If you have not been in a rubber factory before, you won't understand the smell of it. It was really very smelly! However, that factory was much more better than the one I visited last year in Melaka. Due to the large amount of flies, we had to eat fast to prevent the flies from landing on our food and cutleries. We managed to kill some flies by hitting them with cloth and the electric racket, and I killed 3 flies usng 100 Plus LOL

Happy moo~ moo~ Year!!!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
MAY THE YEAR OF OX BRINGS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HEALTH, WEALTH AND PROSPERITY!!!

Im back!

hahahaha...sorry for disappearing so long! School had just reopen for 3 weeks and CNY had arrived. These 3 weeks were exhausting weeks. The first week was still ok, but the 3rd and 4th weeks were really really busy. Each and every day I have activity to join. Tuition classes were as normal but when the rumah sukan training were added in and every morning have marching traning, I really have no time for myself.... I think this was the 2nd time I went for rumah sukan training during my secondary school life. 1st time was during Form 1 and this was the 2nd time. If it's not because of koko marks, I would just stay at home and study.... I always tell myself to be patient, but when I think it is just the beginning of the year, I still have 10 months to go!!!!

I still have 10 months more to suffer, but I still have 10 months only to study for my STPM. There are so many topics to study, so many facts to remember, so many theories to uderstand.... Form 6 is really not that easy.... Heard my teacher said the next batch of Form 6 will be like matrix way of study, every 3 months is consider a semester, and after every sem, you can just forget about everything you've study for the past 3 months. Furthermore, my school, STAR was chosen to be the school where all the Form Sixes from Klang will listen to the lecture. Just imagine, my school is a very small school with very old 1 floor buildings and Form 6 block is the newest building with 3 floors. Where to find the place to fit all the Form Sixes?

Well, I think that's all for this post. I just wana post something and so I did a summary on what I've gone through in January hahahaha...

Genting Trip 28/12/08 ~ 30/12/08

Finally, I had a holiday trip before school reopens at Genting Awana with all the Sunday School teachers. We went there after our Sunday Service, some went by van and some went by cars. When we arrived there, we divided ourselves into 2 groups, married and havn't married. So, all the youths shared 1 room with our Rev Chan and his son, Brian and the aunties get the other room.

The first day itself I get a bad flue...=.=, kept on sneezing from morning till night. I think is because we ran in the rain in the first day while playing basketball. We watched movie for the whole night because I brought almost all of the DVDs I had and Dickson brought his DVD player. After that, we played truth or dare until 3.30 am but YS was already asleep, sien...

This is where all the girls slept, the boys slept in the living room. Woke up at 6.30 am the next morning hahahaha. After breakfast,we went to First World. Our breakfast for the 3 days were the same, which were bread, hot dogs, hams, eggs, baked beans and milo...

We went by cable car and then we split into 2 groups and the first destination of my group was the game arcade. Ying Sing and me played the dancing game. At first both of us were very cold, but after playing that game, we begun to sweat hahahaha.... Then, we went to play bowling. Actually, that was the first time I went to play bowling and I just sat by the side kept on snapping pictures LOL...

After bowling, we went ti have our lunch at McD and we just walked around First World while waiting our movie to start. Rev Chan went to make a turn in the casino and he left us outside the casino waiting for him. He went in twice from 2 different entrances, and every time he has to give us a report on what he saw inside the casino LOL... Then, we went to this Mongolia corner, saw this cute 6 holes musical instrument, the guy gave us a demo and persuaded us to buy it. Well, I really have the intention to buy it in the beginning, but not after we saw the price. That little thing cost RM 50++ ! So expensive! So we just went off hahahaha...

Then, we went to take some pictures with the 'ghost' there. And we found out a very funny thing. The 'ghost' wears sport shoes LOL... So unprofessional!

Later, we went to watch Bedtime Stories. I was shocked when I saw the board showing " NOW SHOWING", as the movie only shows in cinemas on 1 Jan 2009. After watching the movie, we went back to Awana. The mist were so thick until we cant see our neighbouring cable cars. Due to the mist, the cable car stopped suddenly in the middle of our journey. There, another funny incident happened. YS and Brian were so panicked. YS asked Rev Chan to pray and Brian just cant stop yelling. Rev Chan and me cant do anything but to calm them down. However, it was useless. Rev Chan, YS and Brian sat at a side and I sat at the other side alone. So, our cable car was not very balance. That Brian asked me to stick to the wall of the cacle car to balance it. Can you imagined that?! Stick to the wall? I'm not going to do that! However, the cable car started to move again after a while. If it continues to stay stationary for a longer period, I'm sure Brian will burst into tears LOL!!!

We continued watching movie and played truth or dare and this time YS was with us. She said she was very energetic and she don't feel like sleeping. So, stayed up to 5.00 am alone, the rest slept at 4.00 am hahahahahaha.... Then, the next morning, no one was able to wake her up LOL.. Everyone was teasing her about how energetic she was the night before and the next morning she slept like a dead pig! After breakfast, we went to play archery. That was the first time I played archery too. In my first shot, the damn string hit my hand and it became reddish..sob...I shot 16 arrows and I get 68 points. Not bad for a first timer right? Plus, I hit the yellow region! hahahahaha...

Dickson was said to be the man among us, but he was the worst! He shot out of the board! I think he is more suitable to be our ji mui (sister) hahahaha...
our ji mui

Actually, that was the last meeting I had with them because I'm switching to my mom's church. So, I won't be serving in Pandamaran church anymore. That stupid Irene asked me to say something and I cried....Well, I thought I was the only one that will cry, but then, YS cried more serious than me =.= . After all the crying, we took some pictures and went back home.
To all the Pandamaran Church Sunday School teachers, thanks for all the memories you all had gave me. I will always remember the times I had with all of you. Of course I feel sad to leave you guys, it's about 8 years we spent together in the same church and I served in Sunday School for 7 years. Thanks for telling me that I'm welcome back anytime I want to and I really felt very touch when I heard that. I know that there are people that will talk a lot behind of me but I don't care. This is my decision and I hope you guys will remember me in your prayers to bless me in my new church. I will still continue to join MYF, so, we will still meet each other. Once again, thanks for everything!

Thanks for having the patient to read this lenghty post hehehehe...

Happy New Year!!!!

Remember when I was in Elementary School I wish that time would go faster. When I reached Secondary School, I realised that time is getting faster and faster and faster and soon I finished my SPM. Went to work as a part time helper in my church's kindergarten, took my SPM results and ready to go to Kem Bakau Resort, Kerteh, Terengganu to complete my 3 months National Service training.

I met a whole lot of new friends there and the days I had in Kem Bakau Resort will always be a part of my life and this part will never be erased. After 2 months there, finally, it was time for me to leave and continue my studies in Form 6.

The government put me in SMK Shahbandaraya. Went there for 2 days to attend their boring orientation and try my best to get myself transfered to STAR. Thanked God, I get transfered to STAR and in 6BS1. There, again I met a lot of new friends and we get along with each other very fast. The first 3 months in Form 6 were really torturing. The subjects, the formats and the teachers were totally different from SPM. Everyday, I filled my time with homeworks, tuition classes, library duties and trying to do my best in my church. With all these, time flew even faster, faster than what I can imagined. Soon, it's my final and as I aspected, the results weren't pleasing me at all. Thought of having a break during the holidays, but it was ruined by all the tuition classes, extra biology classes and biology projects. Once again, the time flew extremely fast and it came to Christmas. Christmas was the first day of my real holiday, but I still have to do my maths homework...sienz...

Maybe God knew that I was exhausted, I went to Genting with all the Sunday School teacher. All of us are the siao siao people. We stayed up until 3.30am for the first night, woke up 6.30 the next morning and went to walked around First World the whole day. The second night was even worst. All of us stayed up to 4.00am and woke up at 8.00am. Had our breakfast, went to play archery and headed straight home after lunch.

Finally, it is the last day of the year. Actually, I am desire to go to Sungei Wang to countdown with my friends and the main reason is Nicholas Teo will be attending! However, my mum don't let me to. Haiz, full of dissappoinment, I stay at home celebrating and countdown with my famiy, relatives and friends.

Well, time really fly. Year 2009 will be an important year in my life, STPM. Of course, 4 flat and at least band 3 or above for MUET are my goal and I need to work very extra extremely hard to achive that. So, I can already imagine that year 2009 is not a very ideal year for me...So, pray for my my friends!

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GOD BLESS ><

Experiment 18

My Biology project is finally completed! Sad to say that, but I really think my group's work is the best! It's a masterpiece hahahahahaha... The other classmates asked me where I did the frame and some even asked me whether I have extra insects. See, last minute work is always our habit. But not for my group LOL...

I wish to thanked my group members, See Ying, Violet, Yun Yih and Mei Yee for their cooperations. Without you guys, I can't finish it by my ownself. So, let us continue to study, play and work hard together in this remaining year!!!
