6BS1

After 1 month in 6BS1, I made a lot of new friends. When I first entered the class, I talked to the people I knew only, I didn't talked to the rest. So, it's quite boring for me the first few weeks... but, as time passed by, all 6BS1 members started to mix around. I consider our class is noisy... Especially our Kungfu Panda-Iandy. He likes to say "shut up!" but then he ownself never shut up... Well, I think 6BS1 is a great class. Only Chinese and Indians, no Malays...Even the teachers also. I joined the CF yesterday, it's a huge group of people, compared to Andalas CF. Although they have a larger number, but they still faced the same destiny as Andalas CF. Underground CF, found out by the pengetua...Then, what to do? Do gathering outside the school loh....Like Andalas CF, gather at Taman Rakyat... This proved that nothing can stop us to come to God! I think I'm use to my new life now...I'm not that exhausting anymore hehehehe

11/06/08
First day of STAR Lower 6 orientation week. There were 10 groups and I'm in the third group where we have a cool name, XXX! Hahahahaha....Honestly, the first day was quite boring. We wore our identities and we do the banana dance...Then, when the seniors said "FREEZE!", we all have to freeze. No one can move, if anyone moves, 'money' will be deducted from the group. We can only move when they said " FREEZE FREEZE!". The seniors put powders all over our clean faces and hair, then we played all sorts of ice-breaking games. Later, we went in to the hall and there was a fashion show. Every group has to send out a girl and a guy model to do the cat walk. My group, we sent Yin Chye and Yin Xian-our group leader. Then, all kinds of odd and funny cat walks for the whole session, then Yin Xian was the best girl model and we get 'money' for that hahahhahaha.....Later, we have to vote for the movie we have to perform as a sketch on the third day. Then, the Mr. Smart in our group came out with a good idea. We vote for every movie, which was RM200, then, when the other groups vote for a higher price then we will let go. We bought the cheapest movie in the end, which was RM200! hahahahaha. We get Transformer!

12/06/08
The second day was the exhausting day...We had outdoor activities for the whole day...First, I was bind-folded. I don't know what's happening in between the games. Then, the second round, there were some games that need to be blind-folded again....Later, we played war game. We were divided into 2 groups. Everyone has 2 bombs, which was 2 water balloons, we can kill as much as we like with our bombs. Our aim was to retrieve back our items-5 cans and 1 bottle, then quickly bulid a pyramid. The group who build the pyramid first will be the winner. There's one way where we can survive, was to lie down flat on the grass! The war begun, the guys charged forward and the girls acted as a defence wall. Obviously, we all were lying down on the grass...sien....We hid the other group's can under our belly so they can't find theirs. The seniors said we can't touch it, but they didn't say we can't hide it....So, that was our strategy hehehehehehe....They were finding for their properties but they still can't find them hahahaha... So, we won the battle!!! The third round, we have to blind fold again....sien...zzzz....
13/06/08
I went to school at 6.30am, soooo early.... We discussed our sketch and did our robot costumes out of cardboard boxes. My hands were very itchy and rashes appeared on them, what to do? Scratch lah....After the sketch, we didn't won any prizes, no best group, no best sketch, no best actor, and no best actress. But, Yin Xian was the Orientation Queen of the year! Later, I went to a clinic and get an injection. The doctor said I had allergies on my hands...zzzzz.....Haiz...

Form 6 Life

I have started my Form 6 life for 3 weeks...I guess... Then I realised, Form 6 is really different from Form 5... Very stressful...Maybe I'm still not use to the new adjustments in my life. I think everything will be better for few more weeks.

5.45 am-wake up
6.30 am-start jaming on the road
6.55 am-reach school
1.05 pm-rush back to have lunch and take bath
2.15 pm-rush to tuition and get stuck in traffic again...zzz...
5.15 pm-go back to shop
9.00 pm-go home
10.oopm-zzz....

This is my daily routine. No time to rest...haiz...
Yesterday, when I was on my way to school, I suddenly felt like ponteng. I had the feeling to turn my car around and go back home to sleep. I prayed to god, I asked god what happened to my life? Why am I so exhausted? Do I really have to lead a life like this? I will be mad if I continue to be like this...Then, tears came rolling down my cheeks... I quickly wipe away because I scared my friends will see my eyes were red. Then, another sad thing happened. I failed to become a prefect trainee. The teacher didn't select me. I was so sad and I begun to ask myself. What is lacking inside of me which made the teacher not to select me? Am I not good enough? Once again, I felt like crying. I held my tears and I kept on console myself. I told myself to have faith in god. God will always prepare the best for me. Maybe God thinks that I'm not suitable for being a prefect. It will be better for me to concentrate in my sudies if I am to be a normal student. I didn't loose anything for not been selected, but it was the prefect board, the teacher who was stupid for not selecting me as a prefect. They were the ones who loose something precious, they don't know how to appreciate me. I kept on repeating the same thing to myself. Then, school's over. I went back to my mom's shop as usual and I cried silently in the toilet...That night, a sister sent me a sms which I did not aspected. I didn't aspect her to send a sms. I just scanned over the message and I closed it. I didn't read it carefully. Then, later when I was in my room, alone, I read that message again...Tears came rolling down again...haiz...why I'm so emo that day? God spoke to me through it.

A4J

These are the DVDs took in a healing conference in Taiwan on 13/2/2008. Many people with all kinds of sicknesses came to seek for healing with full of hope. Everyone was touched by God and many were healed. The deaf hears, the cripple walks, the mute speaks. And there was a man where 3 out of 4 of his heart arteries had fell off, he can't even bend down to tie his shoelaces, he would have fainted if he did it. But on that day, he ran and jumped from one end of the stage to the other end of the stage! Praise the Lord!!! Miracles happened, thousands and thousands of Taiwanese accepted Christ and healed on that day. Many medias came, even the entertainment media-TVBS came to record the accounts of the miracle night. The gossip magazines wrote about that night, not gossips, but they wrote the truth. After that, many people knew Pastor Philip and there were people pretended to be him on TV shows. Imagine how huge the impact of the conference was.

These are the CDs that Pastor Philip preached about attitudes in Taiwan. In his preaching, he said that God loves us, but we are not His most love. It's a bit dissapointed to hear this...But, we don't have to complain becuase we are not worthy. We are not worthy for God to love us extra. He let us into His kingdom without loving us extra. Jesus loves John the baptist more than He loves Peter. But Peter was the most annointed deciple. He asked Peter thrice " Peter do you love me more than this?" and Peter answered Him with tears " Lord you know I love you" "Then you are the most annointed one"... When Jesus was ressurected, the angel told the women to go and tell Peter and the other deciples. The angel mentioned Peter's name and not John's name. Peter was the one who started to preach to the world. For example, I have a rm100 and rm1 with me. I gave A rm100 because I love A and I gave B rm1. This does not mean I don't love B, I love B too. Then, I asked B to give the rm1 to other people. A is like John and B is Peter. Jesus loves John more than Peter but Peter is more annointed than John. This is the message I get from his preaching... Let us be Peter, although we are not Jesus most love, but we want to be used by Jesus, we want to be annointed by Jesus.
A Trip To Hell, is a very interesting yet scary book. God took his soul to hell and he witnessed all kinds scary incidents. He saw a woman which was unloyal to ehr husband when she was alive with a few demons with sharp weapons around her. The demons poke the woman face with thei weapons and one of the demons pulled her tounge off. She cried for help and merciness but the demons doesn't care and continue to torture her. Her tounge grew back and Pastor Philip understand that the torture is eternity. It keeps on repeating and repeating and meets no end. Then another man appeared. The demons brought another man and asked the first man to eat the second man's brain!!! Yucks! It's discusting! Then the second man ate the first man's brain. Pastor Philip asked why and God said they hated each other when they were alive. After I read this book, I had a strong feeling that I must spread the gospel and fast! I don't want my love ones to go to that scary place.

Awakening 4 Jesus

I went to a conference on 4/6/08. The conference is held in FGA church in KL. Actually, the conference is 4 days, but I left early, I attended for the first 2 days only... I didn't aspect anything at first, but I begun to thirst for god later on. There was a pastor from Indonesia, called Pastor Philip Mandofa which is a very powerful, cute and of course handsome pastor haha... His preaching was so interesting yet powerful. He tought me a lesson which is under the feet of Jesus. The feet Jesus seems to be the lowest place on earth, but it's the highest place in heaven. God surrender the world to those who is close to Him, close to His feet. There are a few examples from the bible. First was Mary. Mary sat down at Jesus's feet and listened to Him, unlike her sister Martha. Second was the prostitute who poured an expensive oil on Jesus and wash Jesus's feet with her hair. Jesus said that she has set a good example and those who follow her will become her diciples. Pastor Philip is so close to God and I really envy him for that. He can preach so well not because of his inteligence, it's because he is close to god; not because he has the talking talent, it's because he is close to god. He can heal all kind of sicknesses, not because he studied medicines, it's because he is close to god. Holy Spirit touched me so deeply in my heart and I can feel His presence all the time. There was a session where he told us to pray God's need and other's needs. You maybe confused. God has needs too? The almighty God? No way... Have you ever asked God what He needs in your prayer? For me, the answer is no. I always prayed for other's needs and my own needs only. I never asked God what can I pray for Him. I felt very guilty and I started to cry during the whole praying session. God has needs too. God wants everyone in this world to come back to Him, God wants to enlarge His territory and God wants us to preach His gospel. These are the needs of our almighty God. In the bible said that Jesus will pray for us in heaven. So, if Jesus is praying for us why waste time praying? Jesus's prayers are much more better than our's. Well, according to Pastor Philip, if we pray for god and other's need for 10%, then Jesus will pray for our need 10% also. We have to struggle through the remaining 90% ourselves. But, if we pray for god and other's needs 90% in our prayers, then Jesus will pray 90% of our needs. We just have to put a little more effort in our lifes and God will bless 90% of our lifes. He is like a Jesus in this generation, I really admire him a lot. From that onwards, I will try my best and of course with god's help to be closer to Him, down at His feet and start to pray more for god and other's needs and pray lesser for my own needs.

The Person I Love

"The person I love" by Jordan Chan is one of my favourite song. The first time when I saw the lyrics, it touched my heart. It's like the song hit the bull's eye. That 's how I feel during that time when I heard this song. The lyrics were so meaningful especially the chorus which made me fell in love with the song immediately. Everyone has a person which he or she admire and that includes me. This song was to express the feelings of a guy toward the girl he loves. As for me, this song is to express my feelings toward him...
The chorus means:
The person I love is not my love
Every inch of his heart belongs to the other person
He is so sublime, till so cruel
Which made me love him, yet hate him. Why her love was so deep
The person I love already has a person to love
From their eye's I can tell that it's impossible for me
It's as if I heard the eternal teasing of love
Each and every time I heard he or she talked about "us"

Kenangan Terindah

Aku yang lemah tanpamu
Aku yang rentan karena
Cinta yang tlah hilang darimu
Yang mampu menyanjungku
Selama mata terbuka
Sampai jantung tak berdetap
Selama itu pun aku
mampu tuk mengenangmu
Darimu ku temukan hidupku
Bagiku kaulah cinta sejati
Bila yang tertulis untukmu
Adalah yang terbaik untukku
Kan ku jadikan kau kenangan
Yang terindah dalam hidupku
Namun takkan mudah bagiku
Meninggalkan jejak hidupku
Yang telah terukir abadi
Sebagai kenangan yang terindah

At first, I don't really knew this song, and I don't like either. The first time I sang this song was the last day of my CB class. This song was one of the songs that my group sang (which I don't know). I don't know how to sing and I just follow the rest. After that, I heard some of the people there singing this song and I felt familiar. During our farewell party, we all sang this song and I begun to love it. I copied the lyrics and have it bluetoothed to my handphone. This song was sang the most during the last few days I had in my camp. My mess-mates especially, sang the song over and over again when a person was about to leave us behind.

All those days I had in Kem Bakau Resort were some of the sweetest and happiest days in my life. No matter what heppens, I will always remember those wonderful days I shared with all my compatriots. We laughed together, cried together, have fun together, and get punished together. Although those days were over and I have to continue to move forward no matter how, but those days will be kept inside my heart as a memory and it will be the most beautiful memory - Kenangan Terindah ever...

Our Only Entertainment Spot

Our cafe was our only entertainment spot. That was the place where we wiras and wirawatis gathered during the holidays and after kerohanian class. There were 3 shops available, but only 2 will open at a time. I will never forget the burger stall there. The burger man really don't know how to estimate time, don't have the brain to do business ( normal lah for malays ) and cook very slow..... We always have to wait at least half an hour for one burger. Kong Sime waited for his for 45 minutes and he scolded the burger man in a very funny way.
Sime: " Kenneth, sudah berapa lama kamu tunggu utk burger kamu?" ( purposely speak in malay )
Kenneth: " sudah 30 minit."
Sime: "kamu order apa? saya order burger special"
Kenneth: " oh, samalah"
Then, the burger man gave Sime his burger special after 45 minutes with a very special way, which he put the burger in a box where normally he gave us the burger in oil paper. What a special burger... Oh ya, the food they sold there were queit expensive. Below are the prices for the food and drinks available.
burger biasa - RM3.00
burger special - RM 3.50
nasi lemak - RM 2.00 ( very little only )
ice cream - RM 0.50 per scoop
ais kacang - RM 2.00
ais kacang + ice cream - RM 2.50
keropok lekor - RM 1.00 for five ( normal price lah )
drinks - RM 1.00 per cup ( normal also lah )
popiah - RM 1.00 for 3
fried bread - RM 1.00 for 2
sausage bread - RM 1.50
4R photo - RM 1.20 per piece
company photo 8R - RM 12.00
So, for those who are going for national service in the future, remember to ask more money from your parents. Don't ever think that you won't spend a lot just because they supplied everything for you. Money is not sufficient there!

Khidmat Komuniti

Jabatan Pertanian Negeri Terengganu was the first place I went for Khidmat Komuniti. Caren, Sook Yin, Mei, Chee Keat (our penghuu), Thum Thum and Jye Haur were in the same group as me during the community service. We went to the fruit orchid in Rantau Abang to plant dragon fruit trees or known as pokok pitaya in BM. 4 people in a group, each of us dug our own hole and we planted our dragon fruit trees which were about 3 months old in it. Later, we took a lot of pictures and the owner of the orchid gave us the permission to pluck whatever fruits we can find there. So, we plucked ample of jambus, starfruits and "ah mo ka na" ( I don't know the name in english, it's a green oval shaped fruit). The profit of the orchid must have reduced a lot for that month hahaha...

we were planting our dragon fruit trees

Jambus!!!

The next place we visited was a village where It's the almost location of DiGi. I forget the name of the village but what I can remember was the village sure was dirty. They asked us to clean their hall which was full of goat dungs...yucks! We cleaned the windows, helped to sweep the leaves and I think that's all. We were playing most of the time hahaha... I have the chance to use the gun. Not M16, but the water gun hahaha... I used that to spray at the high places of the hall. Well, actually it looks like a sniper more than M16.

huh?! M16?

like doing moral project-kerja amal

The last place I went before I leave camp was Rumah Ehsan, a government old folks home. We saw all kinds of old peope with all kinds of sickness, from the most normal diabetes and high blood pressure to those who can't move, talk and eat by themselves. There was a man who slept in the middle of one of the rooms who really can't do anything except for lying down. He has to depend on tubes for eating and drinking..poor man... All the old people were glad to see us and they talked to us non-stop. You'll know how terrible the environment was and let me give you all of a piece af advice. Don't ever send ur parents to the old folks home!!! They don't want to be there if they had a choice!

These 2 aunties suffer from stroke and thay can walk and talk properly

Classes In Camp

our books

Apperently, there were 3 classes, 3 boring classes in the camp. The first class was the Character Building (CB) class, Integration class was the second class and the last was Kenegaraan class.

CB
The CB class was divided into 2 categories, the first was about youself and the second was about other people. For me, both were the same...Lame... I already knew and learend everything what they're going to teach in church. So, I didn't really paid attention in class. There were 4 classes, Andromeda, Betajais (don't know how to spell), Casiopeta and Draco, and I'm in Casiopeta. Pei Jun, Wai San, Lychee, Lian Chin, Kevin, Boh were in the same class with me. From what I remembered, I didn't finish both the classes. I went for a medical chek-up on the first day of the first class and I only show up on the second day. I'm in a group where there were only 2 chinese, one was me and the other was Robin. I didn'n have any conversation with him because I was waiting for him to start it, but he didn't. So, I just kept queit. My group name was Tuah. Then, I went back for Cheng Beng holidays and so I missed the last day of the first class and the first day of the second class. My second group was Freedom Star and I'm in the same group with Kevin. Thank God, at least I have someone that I knew to talk to. We will sing the Hijau song and then we have to enter the class and sit in a theatre form (4 person in a row) before the music stopped. We were asked to do the stupid mind-maping thingy, which they called it pemetaan visual everyday. Then all kinds of boring activities we had to do. They tought us how to juggle but I cant manage to do it untill today hehe... Then, each group has to do a presentation or perfomance on the last day of the class. As for my group, we planned to do a sketch. We discussed and settled everything on the day before the presentation but then one of the malay guys wanted to change it to singing. I was so frustrated with him, not because he changed our idea, it's because he didn't show up the last day during discussion and he let us to do the discussing, he will follow what we tell. So, I just kept queit the whole time. At last, we sang songs which I don't know in front and that was the end of CB class.

Integration Class
Integration class was the best class among the 3 classes, bcause it has no rules and teachers can't control us. We just did our own things in the class and the teacher followed whatever we told her to. We ran to other classes and the teacher can't do anything about it. At the last day of the class, each grup has to do presentations again. My class teacher chose dance. We have to perform malay dance, indian dance and chinese dance. Therefore, me, Caren, Sook Yin, Yi Min, a few malay girls and a few malay guys created a fan dance. We made our own fans out of paper and we painted it with red colour water colour which were very limited. Instead of painting the whole fan red, we left the middle part white. Although it seemed weird, but at least that's the best we can do. There was less than a day for us to practice our dance but yet we performed quite well. I'm satisfied with the result.

Kenegaraan Class
If you've learnt Pengajian Am, you'll find that kenegaraan class was something like that. It was the most boring class ever. I'm in the Tun Perak class and I slept in the class. I don't care what the teacher was talking about. Thank God I don't have to finish the class hahaha...

Bravo! Mighty! Mighty! Ying Xiong!

Bravo Ying Xiong! That's right, I'm in the Bravo company in my camp. At first, I don't feel like giving anything to it. During the kkj time, I just gave my idea by designing the company's logo but my idea didn't won the vote. So, I just sit there doing nothing, letting the malays to do everything. But then when Caren's idea, which was the group name Ying Xiong won the vote, I started to have a little bit interested in contributing to Bravo. Because it's a chinese name hehehe... We changed the lyrics of the evreywhere we go song and in three major languages which were english, chinese and tamil. However, we choose only to sing the english part due the lack of time. Some of the wiras did a very nice thing, which was the hakka presentation. I think that was fantastic and funny too. Too bad I didn't record it down at that time...
I begun to get closer and closer to the Bravos as most of them were my mess mates. We played together and get punished together. The time when I felt the total cmmitment of Bravo was during the navigation training where we asked to cross the palm oil estate with a compass and bearings only. Although some of the malay guys were noisy but I really can't imagine what we're going to do without them. We helped each other to cross rivers, rivers with mud and all kinds of obstacles we faced. My group was the dirtiest group among the 8 groups because most of the girls fell into a deep muddy bank...It's really stink and dirty...Although we smelled weird, we were exhausted, thirsty but we had the spirit, the spirit to get on an air-conditioned bus; the spirit to go back to camp and the spirit to finish our journey. Well, what else I can say. Bravo is a ying xiong, not a gou xiong!
Everywhere we go,
people wants to know,
who we are,
where do we come from,
so we tell them,
we are the Ying Xiong,
Mighty! Mighty! Ying Xiong!

无论去到那里
人人都想知道
我们是谁
我们来自那里
我们告诉他们
我们是英雄
全能强大英雄

My Mess~Bakau 12

This is my mess

our toilet, where we brush our teeths, wash our laundries, bath and shit...
my bed and locker

I slept at the left side, the forth bed from behind. Pei Jun slept at my right and Qiao Yan at my left. When we first arrive, chinese only hang out with chinese, malays hang out with malays and indians hang out with indians. We were the one who made the most noise when the sun was still high up in the sky while the malays will made their revenges at night. The indians were like didn't exist because there was only one indian girl in our whole mess, which is Reetha. Then Sri became one of us a few weeks later which made two of them. We never get along and we quarelled for the plugs almost every Thursday night, Saturday and Sunday, because everyone wanted to charge their handphones and there were only 4 plugs.

If you've read the paper, you'll notice an article about my camp. There was a malay girl who gave birth in the camp's medic. That's not bad enough, because the worst was she was in the same mess as me! Well, none of us knew she was pregnant of course. We thought she was just big size. She always get mc from the medic and skipped most of the training. All sorts of sicknesses she has during activities and she will be very healthy and active during meals and when she's in the mess. All of us thought she was pretending, lazy to do the activities and none of us like her except for her two best friends which were as arrogant as she was. She acted like she was the dai ga je of the camp. She will just pushed you aside or punched you if you're blocking her way. Then she will cut the line following her wish when all of us were queueing for our food. One day, she went missing, and of course we don't even care about it. Then her friends said that she went home. As usual, we girls were quite busy body and so we asked about the reason of her returning. We were shocked when we knew that she was pregnant for 9 months and she just gave birth to a baby boy in the medic on that morning itself. Suddenly, we felt sorry and guilty for what we had done and thoughts about her before. We wanted to tell her we were sorry but none of us took the first move. We ought to keep it as a secret but the news really spread very quickly in the small camp. Everybody started gossiping about it for the next few days and our parents called us and told that there was an article about it. The headline of the news was "Pelatih PLKN Melahirkan Anak Di Dalam Kem" if I've not mistaken.

Members of mess 12 seemed to get along very well since she left camp. We cleaned the mess together, washed the toilet together, clean the canteen together and we played crazy stuffs together. After we came back from the Cheng Beng holidays, me and Ellen brought extension wires. Our problem was solve finally. We don't have to fight for the plugs anymore...

The month of May finally arrived and we all get our semester holidays starting from 8/5/08 till 12/5/08. Everyone should be excited for getting the chance to go home, but actually, we were not that happy after all. Most of us were going back and not coming back anymore because we were going to further our studies. 3/5/08-My mess mates gave those who were leaving a big surprise. Me, Hu Sin, Pei Jun, Shen Lee, Lih Jia and Ruby were really surprised for the farewell party. There were a huge wok of fried mee hon, cake, keropok lekor and all sorts of snacks and sodas. We told our truth feelings about our mess and the rest....and at last, we all shed tears.... Then, the big feast begun! We put cakes on each other faces and we fed a big mouth full of mee hon to each other. We chased all over the mess and the mess went very very messy. Therefore, we cleaned the mess together.

At night, the chinese girls had a H2O war in the toilet. Black vs White and Lian Chin was the only one who wore red t-shirt. We splashed and threw water into each other faces and suddenly....A teacher opened the door, " Sedang buat apa ni?" " Main air, cikgu" "Jangan terlalu bising tau, yg muslim nak sembahyang" "ok, cikgu". Oh boy, how relieved we were. We thought the teacher would asked us to get dressed up and see her right away...but, nothing happened. Hence, the war continued! All of a sudden, another teacher appeared at the door, and once again nothing happened. So, we continued to splash water. At last, another teacher came in....The teachers really potong stim...She asked us why we don't jump into the pool. We looked at each other and said "boleh ar?" "Boleh..." and so we jumped into the pool immediately and we took pictures in the pool.

Attention to all Mess 12 residents. I thanked God for putting me in this mess and having you guys as my mess mates. Although we quarrelled for some stupid reasons but we shared many wonderful moments together too. It's not easy for us who came from different backgrounds, cultures and religions to live under the same roof peacefully for one and a half month. I will never forget all the memories I had in Bakau 12. Mess 12 is the best!!!!
